SuperFetch is designed to cache files used often. It ensures the low access times of SSDs, this option can be disabled if you want.
Prefetch loads pieces of program files into RAM. By disabling this feature, you free up your system memory.
Process to Stop SuperFetch & Prefetch
1. Type Regedit into the Start menu's Search box
2. Select the file path "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SessionManager\Memory Management\PrefetchParameters"
3. Right-click on both EnablePrefetcher and EnableSuperfetch
4. Select Modify on each of these to change the value from 3 (or 1) to 0
5. Restart your PC
